About the West PTA
A small nonprofit
A small nonprofit
doing big things for 412 families.
The West Elementary PTA is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) that exists for one reason: to give every student at West the richest, warmest school experience we can. We fund what the budget can't. We show up when teachers need help. We know your kid.
Build community
Bingo nights, potlucks, new-family meetups — the stuff that makes West feel like home.
Support teachers
Classroom supply budgets, weekly appreciation, and a yearly fund for each teacher.
Fund enrichment
Field trips, guest artists, the library redesign, and the things that make school magic.
Advocate for kids
A real voice with the school, district, and town on the things that matter most.

Be the classroom liaison between your child's teacher and other families. Coordinate class parties, teacher gifts, and keep everyone in the loop. About 1–2 hrs/month.

Library Redesign Fund
